Vehicles of Freedom

the first one

Welcome to my first article in this garden. I will attempt to water it daily, and thoroughly care for its beautiful growth.

This is a vehicle of freedom. Something that I do simply because I can and want to, and because it creates more potential freedom for me in the future. I suspect that I can’t imagine in the slightest how insane the compounding returns of writing this publication consistently will turn out to be. I have selfish intentions and I have selfless intentions, at least I hope so. I hope to have both kinds of intentions. Who’s gonna take care of me if not me? And who’s gonna make sure that I contribute what I can contribute other than myself as well? Well a simple way to get this ball rolling is by creating a vehicle of freedom.

Freedom is simply amazing. The ability to free yourself from suffering. The ability to rise to more awareness. The ability to leverage your increasing skill-level to work in the way you want and create the life you want. The ability to increase your skill-level. The ability to investigate existence beyond what you currently understand. That is what freedom is all about.

There is also the simple freedom of being able to move your body and think your thoughts. It’s quite amazing that we are alive.

So that’s what this is all about. To be free.
